Just when police think they have seen it all, something else happens that takes the cake.
That’s what happened Sunday when local law enforcement officers pulled over a man for a simple traffic violation, and then discover that he had over a hundred illegal drugs in pill form hidden in his buttocks.
According to an arrest report, Daniel Modicue was pulled over on Winnsboro Road on Sunday for having a tinted license plate.
When Modicue stopped, the report says, the deputy saw him making “furtive movements with his arms inside the vehicle.”
When the deputy walked up to the vehicle, he says he smelled marijuana and asked Modicue to step out of the vehicle.
A subsequent search of the trunk turned up 19 individually packaged suspected marijuana cigarettes and a stolen handgun, which was loaded and had an extended high capacity magazine, the report says.
During the investigation, the suspect revealed that he had a plastic pill bottle in his buttocks and pulled it out. Inside the bottle were approximately 99 oxycodone tablets, 132 Alprazolam (Xanax), 22 hydrocodone tablets, and 8 ecstasy tablets.
He was charged with five possession with intent drug charges, illegal carrying of a firearm by a convicted felon, illegal carrying of a weapon in the presence of narcotics, and illegal possession of a stolen firearm.
