Coney Island Connection in West Monroe is showing love and respect to the men and women who answered the call to serve.
On Veterans Day, all veterans are invited to enjoy a free meal at the restaurant located at 2635 N. 7th Street as a heartfelt thank you for their courage and sacrifice.
Owner Chris Lewis said the gesture comes from a place of gratitude and community. “We owe our freedom and opportunity to those who served,” he said. “Feeding them is the least we can do.”
For many in our community, Coney Island Connection has become more than a restaurant. It is a place that celebrates faith, family, and service. This Veterans Day it stands as a reminder that honoring our heroes is not just tradition, it is our duty.
