Concerns about traffic, trains, speeding voiced in District 4 meeting

On Monday, August 12, Councilman Rodney McFarland hosted a community meeting for District 4 at the Children’s Museum, drawing approximately 30 attendees. The gathering followed a weekend walking tour of the downtown area, where McFarland engaged with local businesses to discuss city-related issues.

The primary purpose of the meeting was to hear concerns from downtown residents and business owners, although the majority of participants hailed from other areas of Monroe.
