Our expectations will set the limits for our lives. If we expect little, we will receive little. Small plans have no power to stir the soul. If we don’t plan for our lives to get better, then it won’t. When we discover our God-given abilities, we have the ability to create incredible results in our lives. Sometimes you may have to get out of your own way. We all know success occurs outside of our comfort zone. You are wiser and stronger than you think. Sometimes the only person holding you back is yourself. You may have to be the change you need in your own life. The greatest game you can win is in your own mind.
Dr. Benjamin E. Mays said, “The tragedy of life is often not in failure, but rather in our complacency: not in our doing too much, but rather in our doing too little; not in living above our ability, but below our capacities.” We are only bound by the limits we place on our own minds. The problems we are in today will give us the strength we will need for tomorrow. Ask yourself if what you are doing today is getting you closer to a better tomorrow.
