Local Attorney Carol Powell-Lexing has renewed her call for District Attorney Steve Tew to upgrade charges against a Morehouse Parish daycare center teacher accused of abusing three children. However, Tew says he will never bring unwarranted charges against a citizen just to grab headlines.
