Mrs. Mildred Smith also known as (hon) of Monroe La. died on May 3, 2021. Visitation at Richardson Funeral Home will be held Friday, May 21, 2021, from 1-2 pm also service on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at 2:00 pm Richardson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Smith accepted the Lord at an early age and was under the leadership of Pastor H. P. Donaldson at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church # 1 in Epps Louisana. Which she often talks about how she missed Pastor Donaldson.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by both parents. Jim and Georgiana Glasper Smith of Dehli, Louisiana. Two brothers John Henry (Susie), Thomas Joseph Smith of Los Angles, Califonia, one sister Natalie Smith, and one niece Pamela Sue Cooper.

Mildred “hon” loves to travel, dance, and have fun. She believes in living life to the fullest. She talks about her younger days “boy I dance all night me and Grace. We had fun. One of her favorite sayings was “this s a beautiful day, If God made anything better he must have kept it up there “ Psalm 118:24 This is the day that the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. The LORD has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad”. When eating food that she likes, she would say, “ it’s good, “ Genesis 1: 31, And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.
