Final services for Mr. John Body, Jr. age 81, of Monroe, Louisiana, who transitioned from this life on Monday, August 25, 2025, following a lengthy illness, are scheduled as follows: Friday, August 29, 2025 the body will be available for viewing starting at 1:00 PM and ending at 6:00 PM in the Miller’s Funeral Home Chapel, 2932 Renwick Street, Monroe, LA. 71203 During the last hour of viewing, the family and friends are planning to gather. This is the opportune time for expressions from family, classmates (such as CHS CLASS OF 1964), friends, and domino competitors, since expression time is limited during the final church services. On Saturday, August 30, 2025, a Mass of Christian burial will be held starting promptly at 11:00 AM for Mr. Body at Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church, 600 S. 16th St., Monroe, La. 71202. Interment will follow the Mass at Richwood Memorial Gardens in Richwood, LA. just off US HIGHWAY 165 South of Monroe.
