On December 9, 2012 Marvin Christopher Jenkins was arrested after he battered his wife and threatened to kill her and their children if she didn’t do exactly what he told her to do.
An officer was dispatched to 408 Stella Street in reference to a domestic battery complaint.
The complainant advised his father, Marvin Jenkins, battered his mother on the previous night. He advised Jenkins was using some type of drugs, and he was making threats to his mother and the other occupants of the home by saying he would kill them if they called the police about the incident.
Jenkins forced his wife into a vehicle against her will and forced her to buy crack for 40 dollars. She stated Jenkins told her several times if she called the police, he would kill her and their children. The victim stated she tried getting away but he kept following her.
Officers made contact with Jenkins and placed him under arrest. A consensual search of his vehicle produced two large crack cocaine rocks. Jenkins stated "you busted me" when asked about the crack. He also stated he threw his crack pipe out of the vehicle’s window when he saw the officer at his house. Jenkins had three domestic abuse related arrests since 2005 with two listed convictions. Jenkins was transported to W.M.C.C. and later booked at O.C.C.
Jenkins was charged with domestic abuse battery-3rd offense, kidnapping (domestic), possession of Cds II-Crack Cocaine (2nd offense) and obstruction of justice. All of which are felonies.
