Students praised for planting gardens at local community centers

   Students of Minnie Ruffin and Sallie Humble Elementary Schools were praised recently by the Monroe City School Board for their participation in a Do A Good Turn Day activity.
   The students planted gardens at local recreation centers. Sallie Humble students planted a garden at the Saul Adler Community Center and the Minnie Ruffin Students planted their garden at the Benoit Recreation Center.
   Each of the students was personally congratulated by board members for their achievement.
