Desperately in need of a bone marrow donor
December.06.2012 //
My name is Sharon Hines. I’m 40 years of age mother of three, single parent and the proud grandmother of three. I was diagnosed with CML-leukemia which is a blood cancer in February 2008. My body is at the point where I’m always weak and tired, but I continue to keep my faith in God that everything is going to be ok. That’s why I continue to fight to stay alive. I’m at the stage with the leukemia where I’m desperately in need of a bone marrow donor and that’s basically needing the stem cells found in the bone marrow. So I appreciate everyone who can come out and get your mouth swabbed to see if you are a match for me. Materials on being a bone marrow donor will also be available.
It will be at Harvey Benoit Center, 1700 Oakland Drive Monroe, December 15, 2012 from 1p.m.-6p.m. Contact Gladys Jones 318-803-2651.
