Black Heritage Museum present brunch at Civic Center

Saturday the Northeast Louisiana Delta African American Heritage Museum is having Broadway at the Civic Center, A Holiday Brunch, to usher in the holiday season.
Lorraine Slacks, director of the museum said the brunch will be a precursor to the city's parade, Christmas tree lighting and fireworks. She said it will include a brunch, good food and a performance of African-American show tunes.
The performance of Broadway show tunes will be by Charlene Ayers of By Faith Promotions and Productions of Fort Worth, Texas. Slacks said some of the songs will be from "Ain’t Misbehavin’,” "Dream Girls,” "Porgy and Bess” and others.
Slacks said there will also be an auction at the event, with paintings by Don Cincone, a signed NFL football and other items.
Tickets are $25 per person, $200 for a table of eight, and a sponsorship is $300, which includes a table for eight.
