Pastor Parkman was a blessed and great man of God. Parkman will be the guest speaker at 12 p.m. Come join in with us. And next Sunday Dr. James Handy & The Logtown Baptist Church will be our special guest at 2:00 p.m. But this Sunday at 12 p.m. Pastor Alvin Parkman.

Shared Earth Panel Discussion

WHERE: The City of Monroe

From 5:30 – 6:30 pm. The panel discussion will feature Jenny Ellerbe, creator of the Shared Earth series; Diana Greenlee, Station Archaeologist, Poverty Point World Heritage Site; and Ben Hickey, Curator of Collections & Exhibitions, Masur Museum of Art. This panel of experts will discuss the Shared Earth exhibition as an inter-disciplinary collaboration, the mound building tradition in Northeast Louisiana, and how art can effectively create cultural dialog. Come and learn about Jenny Ellerbe and Poverty Point, two treasures that call Northeast Louisiana home. There will be light refreshments. This event is a perfect prelude to a date night.
