FEMA

WHEN: Friday, April 01, 2016  -  Saturday, April 30, 2016

WHERE: Louisiana

If a household has already contacted us with flood damage and their home suffered additional damage, they’ll want to call FEMA at 800 621 3362 (621 FEMA) to report additional damage. That will probably result in another visit from an inspector and may result in federal assistance being adjusted. They may also come to one of our Disaster Recovery Centers (now in Monroe; West Monroe; Bastrop; Rayville; Farmerville; Oak Grove and Columbia). However, a phone call will probably be easier and faster. In any case, they should be sure to specify they are reporting additional damage, not starting a new registration. If a household did NOT get damaged the first time around, but now has damage, they may contact us in whichever way is best for them www.DisasterAssistance.gov., 800 621 3362, at a Disaster Recovery Center or talking to one of our Disaster Survivor Assistance Teams which are still going door-to-door in some areas).
